One of My Favorite Traitor Guard Units

This is one of my favorite units.  The bits go together so well.  The arms and legs are from Victoria Lamb and the torsos are, of course, FW.  They are not complex by the Vic bits look so good with the FW bits.  The arms and legs are from the Penal Legion squad so they have shackles around their hands and feet, chains dangling from them, some are missing their shoes, etc.  I'm not sure why I painted them completely different from every other unit.  I guess just to be different.

The Lost and the Damned

I've been working on some mutants/cultists to add to my lost and the damned list.  Some of them will also serve in the khorne daemonkin army.

Kultists of Khorne - I've got quite a few more of these guys to make/paint.  I need at least 16.  Planning to give a couple of them flamers as well.  These guys are made a mix of parts from blight wheel, puppetswar, kromlech, GW flagellents and catachans.

Some other mutants:  These mutants are made using victoria lamb, maxmini and GW bits.

Mutants for the Lost and the Damn FW army list

The army list from the Lost and the Damned FW book has lots and lots of options.  Some good, some not so good.  Being the devotee of chaos that I am I had to make some of the new units.  I've wanted to make mutants for a long time and previously used beastmen and ungors.  I wanted to try something different this time around.  Its hard to make good mutants without spending a lot of effort and time.  Neither of which I am able to dedicate to my hobby any longer.  So I re-purposed my Victoria Lamb Penal Guard unit to become mutants.  I didn't really have a good idea so I just took flagellent arms and chopped off their hands.  Then I glued blades, flails, hooks, etc in place of the hands.  Sort of like really crummy archo-flagellents.  I threw in a few tentacles and other oddities as well.  I've got some different heads on the way that should help a bit as well.  My plan is to have 2 units of 30.  I've tried to mix in various different bits to make the unit look as though its been formed out of the remnants.

I've used bits from Victoria Lamb, Blight Wheel, Maxmini, Kromlech, GW catachans, and GW flagellents.  The other heads I have coming are from Puppetswar and Ristul.

Here they are so far:

More Cultists

I had these flagellents for a long while but finally did something with them.  The arms are from the Victoria Lamb Penal Legions and the heads, I think, are from the Moss Guard.

I really dont need any more cultists as I have about 200 or so but what the heck.  The more the merrier.

more Veteran Chaos Renegades

I love the rag tag look of the regular militia troopers but I also want some more hardcore militarized troops as well.  I've already painted one unit of these guys up but I built a total of 50 of them.  3 units with 2 x melta, flamer and shotguns and 2 units with 3 plasma guns.  They are meant to represent the Blood Pact in a way but not directly.

This unit has some Victoria Lamb bits.  I've used her Shotgun arms and some of the Beastmen Trench Raider arms.  I think they turned out pretty nice and give them a different look.

This unit is primarily using the Catachan arms.  Which I dont like but the enforcers are big enough that they dont look too horrible.  SGTs have regular enforcer arms.

Couple of SGTs:

Another SGT, plamsa guns and Tommy guns (used as autoguns/lasguns)

More Chaos Renegades

You just can't keep a good renegade down.  After my joy at seeing how the CRM bodies looked with the Victoria Lamb Penal Legion bits I decided to see how the flagellants would look.  I've got a unit of about 20 of these guys kitted with close combat weapons and pistols.  I'm not really fond of how they look though.  So I thought I would try the penal legion arms on them.  I instantly love it.  I wanted to swap out the heads too.  Give them something more 40k-ish.  Victoria Lamb had some really nice bald heads with rebreathers that I picked up and have a bit of carving it looked pretty good.  So I will probably do a unit of 20 of these guys to be Conscripts.

New Chaos Renegades

How many renegades are too many renegades?  I'm not sure but I'm not there yet, but may be getting close...

Victori Lamb just release some resin version of her Penal Legion in bits.  They are beautiful!  I had to get some and see how they would look for the CRM bodies.  I think they look great, so much so that I made a full unit of them.  If I had it to do over again I would use the legs and arms for all of them.
