CRM Penal Legion
I finished up the chaor militia penal legion. They are meant to represent fallen and corrupt cadians. Not actually a penal legion just IG that have come over to the side of chaos. They are more like scouts in my mind but use the rules for the penal legion.

I worked on the grot tanks some more. Hey are just about done. I have a little bit of detail work to do and finish the crew and they they are done.

Grot tanks
I have painted up these grot tanks to try to make them look like they are bashed together out of various rubbish and then painted green and then abused heavily. I'm sure I pulled it off. I'm not sure if I like them to be honest so give me some feedback. I'm almost wishing I had just done them some bright silly color but I was trying to make them look like 'serious' tanks in order to underscore their silliness. They still have a ways to go, more weathering and some details and the grotzooks of course. Some of the pics turned out blurry too, I will redo those pics this weekend.

Got another BW painted up. Its not 100% but really close. Need to finish the deff rolla and the top hatch and gunner for the one pintle big shoota.

Penal Legion Sgt V2 and possible conscripts
I was not happy with the penal legion sgt so I took him apart and rebuilt him.
Here is V2.
I was also toying around with some conscript using flagellents and CRM arms. Tell me what you think of this guy. I'm not sure the arms work with the body.
And lastly the ever so lovely blight drone. Words and pics don't do this model justice. You have to see it with your own two eye, its really nice; in a disgusting sort of way. :)

Bring out your grots.
Ohh, look what I finally got!
They came with a wide assortment of weapon options but I wanted mine to all be armed with grotzookas. So I whipped up 4 more for the little buggers.
Test fit of the first one.
All four of them side by side. I still need to do the pintle mounted shootas. All the guns a magnetized so I can swap in different options if I so choose.

Look what I won. :D
While I didn't do so well in most of my games. No shocker there. :) I did do well on the hobby side of the event.

So I attended Astronomi-con this year in Dallas Texas. http://www.astronomi-con.com/
I had a great time. Fun games, fun players, well worth the money and time.
In order to get my army ready I needed to get some more figs painted up. So I busted these guys out on short notice for the event.
